A New Platform for Elevation Data: Advanced Algorithms partners with LAND Info to bring a best-in-class Elevation Platform
Advanced Algorithms, LLC is partnering with LAND INFO Worldwide Mapping, LLC to bring a best-in-class elevation platform to key stakeholders. Founded in 1993, LAND INFO is one of the world's largest resellers and processors of elevation solutions and an authorized distribution partner for Vantor (formerly Maxar), Airbus, and Planet, with deep roots serving wireless and telecom mapping across North America. This platform comes after 2 years of development in efficiently and accurately processing LiDAR data at scale, and after over 1 Million square KM processed. Users can quickly and efficiently stream elevation models over the Continental United States, including: Digital Surface Models (DSM), Digital Terrain Models (DTM), and Normalized Surface Models (nDSM).
Streaming options include: in browser via a fast, on-demand tile server, in their favorite mapping software via a WCS endpoint, and via Cloud Optimized GeoTIFFs (COGs) for compatibility. The platform uses proprietary processing and edge streaming technology to deliver a performant user experience and allows for very quick computation over the elevation data.
At launch, users will be able to generate Elevation Profiles, do Line-of-Sight analysis from A to B, compute Point measurements, and run Cut/Fill Volumetric Calculations. All of these compute within seconds and results are delivered to the browser. We will be adding more functionality based on user demand.
Our base product delivers 1m spatial resolution, with option to order data as fine as 30cm.
We will be offering an Unlimited in-browser subscription at launch, allowing unlimited human viewing and processing via the web based viewer. We'll also be offering metered options for programmatic/desktop WCS server and API usage.
Elevation Data provides a rich source for analysis crucial to applications such as Telecommunications, Utilities, Land Management, Flood Modeling, View-shed, Forestry, and beyond. Our surface models allow differentiation between ground and surface features, such as buildings, trees, and poles.
We are here to help you with your project and data needs, don't hesitate to reach out.
